Feeling good now!

So, last week I felt like crap... super big, back hurt, swollen feet, etc. etc. This week, I feel wonderful. I even forgot I was pregnant for a little while yesterday. I've slept most of the night for a little while now and I think that makes a big difference. My back still hurts or course, but not as bad.
The neatest thing happened today. I guess we're running out of room in there because something jabbed out of my side while I was working in our storage room. I think it was either a foot or an elbow. I don't know. I'm going to try and get a picture of it if it happens again. I hope that is a sign that she's trying to flip in there. I'm pretty sure she's still breech and my doctor said that if she's not head-down by 36 weeks, she probably won't get that way, which means an almost guaranteed c-section. I've been doing all the tricks to turn her- hand stands off of the couch or bed so that my hips are above my head, playing music in my crotch so she's interested in what's down there (that's my favorite... I think it's hilarious), using a flashlight to track from top to bottom of my belly so that she'll follow, etc. We'll see if any of it works. If I go to my appointment next week and he says she's still breech, I may be looking into some accupuncture. Who knows!
I can't believe we're already 35 weeks in (as of tomorrow). I was reading that she is about 5 1/2 pounds and between 16 and 20 inches long now. Crazy! They also say that she has a 99% survival rate if she were born today. That's the best news of all! I'm almost ready for her to be here! The bags are packed and in the car, the carseat is strapped in, the hospital is pre-paid, and we are excited to get the show on the road. I think I understand what all those moms mean when they say the last few weeks go by the slowest. I can see how all this anticipation could get old. I'm not tired of it yet! Stay tuned.
